BBQ blockbuster draws season to a close!
Griffin Bowls Club
On Sun 21st Sep, The Griffin Bowls Club's outdoor season drew to a close. The day saw the annual Captain's vs President's team face-off against each other, with the Captain's teams winning 108-95.
Importantly, the weather was kind to us, which was good news for the end of season BBQ. Many sausages, burgers, beverages and toe-tapping to some classics could be seen during the evening, which was enjoyed by around 50 people.
The day highlights what a fantastic community we have around the club and one of the unwritten benefits of joining Griffin. Although our outdoor season has come to a close, the winter season is just round the corner where Short Mat will, as always, be well-attended for the next 6 months on Wed/Fri evenings and Tue/Thu During the day.
